Easy to use and handle

The Portable Slit Lamp Kowa SL-17's lightweight design weighs less than 800g and provides easy and versatile operation with a choice of 10x and 16x magnifications, 3 slit widths* (0.1mm, 0.2mm, 0.8mm) plus spot illumination and a cobalt blue filter using a high illumination LED as the light source.

The high illumination LED also provides re-adjustable variable light from 10,000 to 20,000 lux. With its non slip ergonomic grip, the SL-17 provides maximum operator comfort during lengthy examinations.* The slit lamp also allows a 1mm slit length for observing flare within the anterior chamber.

Versatile, portable unit

The Portable Kowa SL-17 is a compact and portable hand-held slit lamp that is ideal for the domicilliary health care environment and also in emergency case detection. It can be used in emergencies, mobility challenges and when switching between clinic rooms.

Using AAA batteries (standard and rechargeable) enables continuous operation for up to 140 minutes. The stand doubles as a safe stand and charger. The SL-17 is available in 4 colour variations - white, aqua blue, green and pink.

Flexible recording tool

The slit lamp supports digital or video cameras through the optional C Mount video adapter for instant imaging.
